Unfortunately, it has been a terrible year for bands cancelling tours with many festivals suffering because of this and Ninjafest has not been left out. As Menace and Terrible Minds cancelled, we had no option but to cancel the Saturday of the fest.

We are very sorry, and hope that you all understand that doing this was a very difficult decision for us to make and not one we took lightly. We tried hard to save the Saturday but unfortunately were unable to do so.

It is also with heavy heart we have to announce that this is going to be the last Ninjafest. We are aware this was said in 2007, but this really is the end.

The line up has been extremely hard to put together for the past couple of years and much harder than in previous years. This is due to bands needing more because of the increase in means of getting to the UK. As the fest has a very small budget, we are unable to keep up with these costs.

To have to give this up breaks our hearts.

We would love it if you all came out and helped us give the fest the proper sending off it deserves.

If you put on a hardcore fest, you should expect at least a couple of bands pull out.. I dont think we have ever done a Ninjafest where this hasnt happened.. so.. updates to the line up:

– District 9 have had to cancel their whole European tour. We were super bummed out when we heard and are currently trying to sort out a replacement

– Axis and Will to Die have also cancelled their european tour. We are all really upset but they have been replaced by Strengthen what remains from Florida and Ultimhate from France!

– We have also added Bun Dem Out and Proven to the bill!

Tickets are selling well and the event should sell out.. there are 100 day tickets and 400 weekend. Day splits will be released in a couple of days. Post on the FB page if you have any questions!

Dates been booked, folks..

25th-26th October 2014 at the Underworld, Camden. 

Travelodge hotels for these dates are currently super cheap at about £50 a night (which for a hotel in london, is brilliant).

We have started shortlisting bands.. please dont contact any of us trying to get on the bill.

Its going to be fab. In the mean time, check out Concrete fest which is happening in March in Brum… Sams done a really good job in putting the line up together.

Well, now the fest is over and we all suffering from the dreaded Ninjaflu, we thought we would do a little post.

We would like to thank EVERYONE that helped us out and whilst we cant name each and everyone of you, we would specifically like to thank the wonderful Mog for ALL her help over the weekend.. not only the food, but being a great support to us all.

We would also like to shout out the wonderful One Life Crew, who, in our hour of need, stepped up and saved us on the Saturday Night. There are no words to explain how grateful we are and we will never forget it.

Thanks to all the bands that played, especially the ones that jumped on the bill at short notice and played your hearts out… to all the kids that traveled from both near and far, and for everyone who made the fest what it was. Everywhere I looked, there were people smiling, laughing.. it felt like a massive family gathering.

So, first things first. If you looked to stage right, you would notice that Max spent the majority of the weekend taking amazing videos of bands for us. They can be seen here:

Hes going to be updating as he does the videos. We got a sneak glimpse at the fest on Sunday and they all look fabulous.

Now onto the second point..

As the wonderful Louise is incredibly busy, she will be leaving the crew. She will be greatly missed and has promised to attend every single one and help out on the day (well, she never said every single one, but we are making her haha).
Who else would we choose to take her place other than Mog? She helped us out so much over the last 3 Ninjafests that it would simply be a crime for her not to be named as one of the official girls running shit.
We love her and are so happy she has accepted!
(Now you can also bother her to get on the bill heh)

And finally:

Ninjafest 2014 IS happening.  Dates are 25th and 26th October, 2014.

Ninjafest is about family and a party vibe. Family rallying together helping each other out..

Despite many hiccups, all the bands, the mass majority in attendance and everyone we spoke to,  had a great time, including us!

Whilst I am sure that at the end of the weekend, I will be writing out an extensive thank you list, I love all of you that helped spread the word, and all of you that are making the efford to travel. We have people coming from all over the world, and we are so grateful that so many of you are making the effort. Its going to be an absolutely cracking weekend.

That said, here is all the final important details.

 There is a very limited number of tickets left per day. On the door, weekend tickets will go up to £40 and day tickets will remain at £25. If you still dont have one and want to get one on the day, get there early.
Doors are at 1pm. Mind x Control will be on shortly after at 1.20pm due to an early curfew at the Underworld meaning we have to finish earlier on Sat night.
